How can you make a couple's session different than others?

Couple sessions are always so much fun because it's always an adventure! Whenever a couple wants photographs I always get so excited because it's never boring.

Here are a few quick tips to prepare for your next couple of sessions.

1. When you have an inquiry from a couple try to call or meet with them so you can create chemistry and see how they are as a couple.

2. Try to have a contract with their expectations but also yours like time, prices and etc. Why?! So nothing gets lost or there is no evidence that can result in miscommunication or false expectations

3. Your couple is going to come with an idea or vision in their heads, Try to understand fully their vision so there are no surprises after the shoot.

4. Ask the woman what side is their best side! A lot of times girls have a preferred angle so be sure to ask them beforehand. You can ask the guy just in case but usually, the guys don't mind.

5. Be prepared! You don't have to know every pose but it's always good to study before shooting with a couple whether it's looking on Pinterest for some inspiration or get a book and study posing! Youtube is such a great way to learn more whether it's how to use a location or posing.
